Western Australia's oldest wine region sits inside the metro area: wineries, breweries, distilleries and chocolate makers along the Great Northern Highway. Guildford has the heritage streetscape and antique shops, Whiteman Park holds Caversham Wildlife Park, and to the east the new Ellenbrook and Brabham estates begin.
