The northern growth corridor: whole blocks of new houses, roundabouts and one shopping centre per estate. Rent is among the cheapest in the metro area and the train now reaches Yanchep — but the distance to the city is real, and tree shade is still 15 years away.
Good for
- Renting a whole house cheaply
- Drivers who do not mind the kilometres
- Yanchep National Park and weekend koalas
Watch out
40–50 km from the city. Without a car, life shrinks to the radius of the station.
